Our Impact

Since 2016, the landscape around incarceration and addiction has been changing—and F5 Project has been in the thick of it. We've watched reentry services grow from scattered efforts to coordinated support systems. We've seen public safety evolve from punishment-first to people-first. And we’ve helped push the conversation forward—louder and more unapologetic than ever.

Through our work, hundreds have secured housing, thousands have received peer support, and countless others have found what they were missing: hope, direction, and a real shot at a second chance.

Over the past year, we haven’t just expanded—we’ve dug in. We’ve walked alongside hundreds of participants across North Dakota and Minnesota, meeting them where they are and helping them move forward with grace, accountability, and support.

Our programs do more than teach life skills—they prioritize healing. Because until someone has the chance to work through trauma, no amount of budgeting classes or job applications will stick. We help people rebuild from the inside out.

Every resource we offer—housing, peer support, recovery planning, mentorship—is about removing barriers and restoring dignity. The goal? To see individuals rise—not just to survive, but to thrive. To show up for themselves. For their kids. For their communities.

And we’re just getting started.

AMANDA

"I've always wanted to change my life, and I want to keep it going, so I reached out to F5 for that reason. They know what it's like and how it feels to be this big in life and can help when you want to rise above the negative things."

DOUG

"Previously I was unable to keep myself in that frame of mind, I continue to go back to drugs every time. But F5 Project has given me the support I need to stay away from them."

KALEANN

"Part of what got me into trouble with my addiction is the isolation, I didn't have the community around me anymore. It doesn't always have to be a medical professional, but having that person that has dealt with the addiction as well, and knows those bad days, and you can see that they've gotten better."
